Membership Benefits of the Manning Business Chamber

The Manning Valley Business Chamber represents the entire ManningValley and all businesses with the purpose to advance the industrial, economic, professional and civic welfare of the Valley.

The MVBC Board is represented by five chambers and have a vision and direction which will enhance the Valley including the expansion of its liaising with Federal, State and local government including the Greater Taree City Council and other relevant bodies on all issues.

The Chamber is currently the principal in partnership with Greater Taree City Council on Economic Development and is represented on the Tourism Board, Farquhar Inlet Group, Estuary Committee, Traffic and Tourism Committees plus other community boards that currently give representation and a voice for all business and the community.

With the changing economic climate and demands associated with running a business; chambers have and will increase their roles of representation for business and will be expanding its activities.

This will include the Manning Valley Business Chamber paying applicable insurances for each chamber which will ease the overheads of each chamber.

This direction gives all Chambers and its members the opportunity of providing a strong and united voice to increase a visual and active role in the community.

The Chambers are firmly focused on providing services for their members and the community with the future being exciting and positive with new events which benefit the local economy and stimulate growth.

The Manning Valley Business Chamber host many opportunities to be part of the process to make the Chambers a strong voice and network with their popular Business Breakfasts and other functions and activities.

An expansion of services to all members is a key issue the chamber have addressed and will join the NSW Business Chamber which will provide an excellent link giving access to extra benefits plus training programs in partnership with TAFE including training for manager, supervisors and employees in customer care.

Membership of your local Chamber and the NSW Business Chamber will allow every member to be confident of improving and having a positive strength in workplace management, OHS, trade and business improvement. This opportunity will display unification and ensure the interests of business in all areas across NSW whether it be small, medium or and large or in any area will be represented at local, state and federal levels.

Business Vitality an online health check a Corporate Governance Toolkit providing a series of ‘How to’ business guides with more than 180 guides available on the topics sales, marketing, business planning, OHS, people management and finance. Plus a once per year online business diagnostic report, that reports on the health of your business and benchmarks areas of improvement. Businesses receive a 48 page report with recommendations on how to improve your business.

  5. Access to a Regional Manager for policy and advocacy issues within your region.

  6. Opportunity for participation in NSW Business Chamber’s Regional Advisory Councils
